The first Hearing on May 5th focused on hearing the voices of women directly experiencing the challenges of poverty, racial discrimination and inequity and their perspective on how California can advance equality and opportunity. The Committee held a second Hearing and an in-depth Convening on June 17th and 18th to look comprehensively at the topic.
