Glossary of Terms, Phrases and Acronyms used in the California Disability Services Systems

Individuals with autism and other developmental diabilities are served by a complex and wide array of services and programs. At times, the terminology and jargon associated with these supports can be rather mystifying. Therefore, The Senate Select Committee on Autism and Related Disorders is pleased to provide an overview of the terms phrases and acromyms that are frequently used in discussing systems of care for autism and other developmental disabilities.
